A contact tracker that actually fits how solo operators work. No pipelines, no deal stages, no dashboards you'll never fill in. Just your contacts, your notes from the last conversation, and a "next follow-up" date that tells you who to reach out to today. The entire CRM most people need, and nothing they don't.

If you've ever opened Salesforce and closed it immediately, this is the opposite of that.

🪺 Who it's for

  • Freelancers with 10-30 active contacts, not 500
  • Job seekers tracking recruiters and networking conversations
  • Solopreneurs who've outgrown a spreadsheet but aren't running a sales team
  • Anyone whose "CRM" is currently a mix of Gmail search and memory

🌊 What it solves

Most CRMs are built for sales teams with pipelines and quarterly reports. That's overkill for the solo version of the problem, which is actually small: who did I talk to, what did we say, and when should I follow up? This template answers those three questions and nothing else.

⚙️ What's inside

  • Contact database with names, emails, phones, company, tags, notes
  • Filters for "Follow-up today," "This week," and "Overdue"
  • A Next Contact Date field on every record so no one falls through
  • Timeline and calendar views of upcoming follow-ups
  • Note field per contact for whatever you want to remember
  • That's the whole template. That's the feature. It works.

🦆 A note from me

I built this because every CRM I tried asked me to configure a pipeline before it would let me add a contact. I just wanted to write down a name and a follow-up date. So I built the one that does exactly that, and nothing else.

If you need a sales pipeline, projects linked to clients, or invoice tracking, grab my Premium CRM instead, this one is deliberately simple. Duplicate it, add three contacts, see if the friction's gone.
