A portfolio template with the hardest part already done: a real, fleshed-out example showing what a finished portfolio looks like. The example is a data analyst's work (projects, methodology, dashboards, case studies), but the structure is built to be replaced: swap in your design mockups, writing samples, code projects, research papers, photography, or whatever you actually do. What you're getting is the shape of a great portfolio, not the content.
For people who know they need a portfolio but stare at a blank page every time they try to build one.
🪺 Who it's for
- Designers, developers, analysts, writers, researchers, photographers
- Career switchers who need to prove their new skills visually
- Students and new grads building a first portfolio from scratch
- Anyone whose "portfolio" is currently a Google Drive folder with inconsistent file names
🌊 What it solves
The hard part of a portfolio isn't the hosting, it's the structure: how do you present a project in a way that shows your thinking? What sections matter? How much is too much? Starting from a finished example solves this in a way a blank template never can. You see what "good" looks like, then replace the content with yours. Ten minutes of substitution beats ten hours of wondering.
⚙️ What's inside
- Fully-built example portfolio (data analyst case studies) showing the end result
- Case study page template: objective, approach, process, outcome, takeaways
- Skills and tools section with customizable categories for any field
- About Me section for your story, bio, and career goals
- Embedded media blocks for screenshots, charts, code snippets, PDFs, video
- Contact and resume links, LinkedIn button
- One-click public sharing: recruiters see it without signing up for anything
🦆 A note from me
I built the example as a data analyst portfolio because I had to pick something, and data analysis was what I knew best at the time. It could just as easily be a UX portfolio, a copywriting portfolio, or a photography portfolio: the structure holds. Keep the scaffolding, replace the projects. That's the template.
Duplicate it, swap the examples for your work, share the link with your next application.
